Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy


1) New Items (Factory-New, Never Used)

We want buying new furniture from Fresh Start to feel worry-free. That’s why we offer:

  • 30-Day Return Window
    Eligible new items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Items must be in new, unused condition, in the original packaging with all accessories included.

  • Free Cancellations Before Shipment
    Cancel your order at no cost if it has not yet shipped.

  • Returns After Shipment / After Delivery
    If you choose to return after delivery, you are responsible for:

    • Return shipping costs (unless the item is defective or damaged upon arrival).

    • A 25% restocking fee to cover handling and warehouse costs.

    • 25% restocking fee does not apply for Klarna users.

  • Exclusions
    Custom, special-order, and items marked “Final Sale” are not eligible for return.


2) Refurbished & Used Items

  • All sales are final. Once delivered, refurbished/used items cannot be returned or refunded.

  • Visible flaws or imperfections are disclosed in listings and photos. We encourage you to visit our store or carefully review listings before purchase.

  • If shipping damage occurs, contact us immediately upon delivery with photos so we can evaluate and resolve the issue.


Pickup & Delivery Scheduling

  • Pickup or delivery must be scheduled within 5 days of purchase.

  • If pickup is selected but not completed within 5 days, the item will be returned to inventory and a full refund will be issued automatically.

  • Once an item is delivered, the applicable New Items or Refurbished & Used policy above applies.


Damages & Defects

  • Please inspect your order at delivery.

  • If an item arrives damaged in transit or defective, notify us immediately with photos at hello@freshstartfurniture.co.

  • For new items, we may repair, replace, or refund depending on the situation.

  • For refurbished items, only shipping damage beyond disclosed imperfections is eligible for remedies.
